DEL’s expertise in ozone applications spans over several markets, including residential pools & spas, commercial pools & spas, commercial aquariums, food safety, and industrial applications.
Named in multiple ozone patents, DEL Ozone developed the first UL listed ozone systems for pools and spas and the first NSF listed ozone systems for commercial pools under NSF Standard 50. In 1994, DEL wrote and published “Application Guidelines for the use of Ozone for Commercial Pools and Spas”. Since 1997 DEL has collaborated on multiple University and accredited lab third-party studies regarding the efficacy and safety of ozone for food applications.
As an antimicrobial substance (water purification and surface sanitation), ozone is approved by the EPA, FDA and USDA in both aqueous and gaseous forms. DEL ozone systems are UL listed (or built to UL specifications), NSF listed and carry an EPA Establishment number.
DEL ozone systems successfully deliver consistent dissolved ozone doses reliably, safely and efficiently. DEL’s Owner’s Manuals provide Standard Installation Procedures (SIP's), as well as general ozone and safety information.
