DEL Innovation in Spa Ozonators
DEL pioneered the corona discharge (CD) spa ozone generator with the chip-based CDS-16 which has been installed in spas by manufacturers since 1998. This little powerhouse and its sibling, the dual voltage Spa Eclipse, brought the reliability and simplicity of maintenance of CD ozone to the portable spa industry, helping spa manufacturers provide the pleasing product buyers wanted.
More recently DEL produced the MCD-50 for larger spas and hot tubs. This unit uses a glass chamber in the ozone generator that is more corrosion resistant and lasts longer than the CDS-16, up to 5 years in normal use. The MCD-50 can sanitize hot tubs up to 1,000 gallons.
