I received the refurbished DEL Ozone Generator yesterday and installed it today. I wanted to give you some feedback on my first impressions.

Wow! I congratulate DEL Ozone in their improved model. The unit was plugged in an the indicator lights were beyond any hope or expectation.

The check valve installed removed a concern I had with my old system configuration, and I began the installation. The electrical cord was cut exposing the (3) wires for "hard" wire installation. Once started and the flow rate adjusted, the very pleasant odor of ozone was once again "enjoyed" by my family.

For what it is worth, I wanted to say thank you for all of your efforts. The final product changes are in my opinion outstanding, and your generator is performing past any expectation.

Once again thank you!

Sincerely,

"The DEL Infinity ozone system performs well with a minimal amount of service that I just can't say enough about it. I know that ozone systems are the future for keeping pools clean and safe" -

To Whom It May Concern:

The Southern Utah University Aquatics Center installed and has been using a DEL Ozone CD-130 ozone generator for water sanitation since October 2003. The generator installed produces 130 g/hr sized to treat our 700,000 gal pool. The people at DEL were great to work with during installation, and in commissioning and training. They have continued that level of service since. Any time we have a question or problem they are there to help.

We have experienced some very positive effects from using ozone in our swimming pool. The first is the tremendous reduction of chloramines. We have only had to shock the pool once in the last eight months compared with a three week cycle previously. We have seen a notable decrease in the amount of corrosion on our equipment. It has been easier to maintain the stainless steel handrails. The air quality in the pool area has improved as well. We have also noticed improved water clarity and fewer complaints from swimmers about burning eyes and itchy, dry skin. Staff and frequent pool users also report increased bathing suit life.

The next positive effect is the reduction of chlorine usage and the resulting reduction of chlorine expenditures. For the 2002-2003 fiscal year we spent $5,000 for chlorine and acid, compared to $3,500 for the 2003-2004 fiscal year. We expect to save even more next year (and in the years to come) since the ozone was in operation for only eight months of the past fiscal period.

At Southern Utah University we have tried to be very aware of potential health hazards. For this reason we purchased a mobile surface sanitizer from DEL Ozone to wash down the pool decks, showers, and locker room floors. This has also been a great addition to our facility. We have been able to reduce the amount of chemical disinfectant we were using to clean these areas, which has also resulted in fewer residues on these potentially slippery surfaces. The surface sanitizer has allowed us to be more efficient with our time because it is a one step cleaning process instead of a two or three step process. We have even started using the AGW-0500 to sanitize our scuba equipment before it is used in the pool again after outdoor trips.

DEL Ozone CD-130 Installed. This system produces 130 grams of ozone per hour.

I would like to conclude by saying that using ozone in our facility continues to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. The benefits of these products are realized by the maintenance staff, the management, and most importantly, the swimmers.
