DEL Ozone has received NSF/ANSI 50 certification as an approved Secondary Disinfectant. This covers disinfection efficacy testing for 3-log (99.9%) or greater reduction of Cryptosporidium parvum in a side-stream applied singlepass, as well as a 99.9% or greater reduction in multiple other types of bacteria and pathogens. DEL Ozone is the ONLY ozone system provider with NSF approved Secondary Disinfection classification.

TÜV Rheinland Product Safety and Quality Certification marks show that manufacturer's products have met applicable safety requirements and quality standards. When consumers see a TÜV Rheinland Product Safety and Quality Certification mark, they can be assured that they are buying a safe product that has been investigated to particular safety requirements by an accredited third party and is supported by regular surveillance audits.

DEL Ozone carries products that are compliant with relevant EU legislation, which allows free movement and sale of these products through the European Economic Area.  

Prior to exporting, U.S. manufacturers have to consider certification for the EU market. Certification is about conformity assessment (testing and certification) in order to declare compliance with EU regulatory requirements. For the majority of exported products, compliance is visibly testified by the use of CE marking. Use of standards is part of the process.

DEL Ozone’s ozone systems are compliant with the guidelines set forth by the Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC), which operates under the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

The Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC) is a voluntary guidance document based on science and best practices that can help local and state authorities and the aquatics sector make swimming and other water activities healthier and safer. States and localities can use the MAHC to create or update existing pool codes to reduce risk for outbreaks, drowning, and pool-chemical injuries. The MAHC guidelines are all-inclusive and address the design, construction, operation, maintenance, policies, and management of public aquatic facilities.
