DEL Ozone Leads the Way

Joel Peterson, President & CEO

Joel was appointed to the position of President by the Board of Directors in fall 2010 after serving for many years as DEL’s Vice President of Finance. Joel has worked at DEL since 1992 and has been engaged in strategic planning and market development, as well as being responsible for managing all of the company’s financial activities. Prior to joining DEL, Joel held increasingly responsible positions at TRW, NERCO and Rantec Electronics. He earned his MBA in Finance from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, CA.
 

Beth Hamil, Vice President, Corporate Compliance

Beth Hamil has been with DEL Ozone since 1985. She pioneered the development of the first NSF listed ozone system under Standard 50 in 1985, established the first NSF food safety testing and validation program for ozone in 1999. Beth has worked ever since with various NSF Toxicology groups, universities and government agencies to test and validate the safety and efficacy of ozone systems in applications for food safety, commercial pools and public health. Her current title is Vice President, Corporate Compliance based on her 27 years expertise of ozone regulatory compliance in multiple applications.
 

Jeff Jones, Director of Residential Pool National Sales

Jeff Jones has been with DEL Ozone since 2005 as Director of Residential Pool National Sales. He has extensive experience in the swimming pool industry. Since 1976 Jeff has worked in all facets of pools including construction, remodels, service and maintenance. Prior to coming on board with DEL, he was the National Sales Manager of Letro Products from 1994 to 2003. During his seven years at DEL, Jeff has acquired a broad understanding of the use of ozone in multiple pool applications, making him uniquely qualified to assist pool builders, distributors, dealers and end-users on ozone sanitation.
 

Shad Frane, Director of Sales, Food Safety & Industrial

Shad Frane has been with DEL Ozone since 2005 as Industrial Sales Engineer, Industrial Sales Manager, and now as Director of Sales, Food Safety and Industrial. He has worked on a wide range of ozone installations and acquired extensive experience; his current focus is on food safety applications globally. With his roots in agriculture and food safety, Shad is uniquely qualified to tackle even the most difficult installations to provide food processors seamless ozone integration. Shad has a BS in Agriculture Business with an emphasis in Sales and Marketing and a Minor in Viticulture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA.
 

Jim White, Director of Applications, Food Safety & Industrial

Jim White has been with DEL Ozone since 2001 as Design Engineer, Sales Engineer and now as Director of Applications, Food Safety and Industrial. Jim’s background as a design engineer and consequently as sales engineer for several ozone applications over multiple markets makes him uniquely qualified to provide extensive expertise in the fields of food safety and industrial ozone applications. Jim has twelve years experience in adapting ozone-based process equipment to specific applications for seamless performance and meeting customer needs. Jim has a BS in Industrial Technology from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, CA.
 

Frank Martin, Director of Engineering

Frank Martin has been with DEL Ozone since 1996 as Design Engineer and now as Director of Engineering. Frank’s background as a design engineer for multiple ozone systems over a wide range of applications and a wide range of markets makes him uniquely qualified to provide extensive ozone expertise in multiple fields, including aquatics, on-premise laundry, industrial, food safety and OEM ozone applications. Frank has sixteen years experience in design and adaptation of ozone-based process equipment that is continuously updated with the most current ozone technology as well as controls and HMI technology for seamless performance and meeting customer needs. He and his team of engineers at DEL Ozone are unsurpassed in this field. Frank has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA.
 

Jim Brown, Director Customer Service

Jim Brown has been with DEL Ozone since 2004 as Quality Assurance Engineer, Test Engineer, and Customer Support Manager and currently as Director of Customer Service. Jim’s background as a Q.A. engineer and test engineer for DEL’s complete product line makes him uniquely qualified to lead his team in providing extensive customer support expertise. He is fully qualified in providing Quality Control policies and procedures over all DEL product lines, including aquatics, on-premise laundry, food safety, industrial and OEM ozone products, as well as ancillary products. Jim and his team work with a network of third party field service companies across the country that are certified, monitored and maintained to high standards of technical competence and customer service. His team also includes field service as well as in-house service technicians. Jim has a BS in Engineering Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA.
